Scroll to build

Designed before a single shovel moves.

The column grid, rooms and openings are drawn and engineered first, so the build follows the plan.

Built on what you can't see.

Excavation, footings and tie beams, sized for the soil and for everything that will stand on them.

Steel before concrete.

Rebar cages are tied and checked at every column before the formwork closes around them.

Two floors and a roof deck, poured.

Columns, beams and slabs rise floor by floor, with shoring left in place until the concrete cures.

The walls close in.

Hollow block walls go up on both floors, leaving an opening for every window and door in the plan.

Finished, inside and out.

Plaster, glass, timber cladding and a front garden. The site becomes a house.

Designed and built by R-Haus.

One team from the first drawing to the last coat of paint. Keep scrolling to step inside.

Welcome home.

A timber pivot door opens straight into the living room.

A living room that faces the garden.

Light from the front windows, with the stair built into the room instead of hidden away.

A kitchen built around the island.

Cook, eat and talk in one space, with storage along the back wall and a table for everyday meals.

A bedroom on the quiet side.

Set back from the street, with a window to the side garden and built-in storage.

A bathroom planned to the centimetre.

Vanity, toilet and a glass shower fit a compact footprint without feeling tight.

A stair that's part of the house.

Timber treads and a glass rail keep the climb open to the living room below.

Upstairs, the hall looks back down.

A glass rail over the stair connects both floors.

A private master suite.

A timber feature wall, a reading chair by the window, and doors out to the terrace.

Rooms built around how you live.

A gaming room with its own lighting, storage and screens, planned in from day one.

Outdoor living, one floor up.

A covered terrace over the front garden, with a spiral stair to the roof.

And a deck above it all.

Shade, seating and a view of the neighborhood as the lights come on.

Your home starts here.
